JD - Operations Support Manager
Working to support the COO and Operations Leadership Team
Key responsibilities
Manage operational rythms, including weekly, monthly and quaterly schedules for planning, reporting and tracking performance, integrating with company-wide schedules
Oversee and continuously improve operational processes
Develop mitigation strategies and actions against operational risks impacting the P&L
Support relationships with other internal functions such as Recruitment, Finance and HR
Handle multiple ad-hoc activities to ensure the smooth running of the business
Objectives:
Recommend new procedure for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations
Maintain communication with operations manager, staff members and vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points
Assist the operations manager in developing, planning & coordinating operational activities
Ensures that operations are in legal compliance with local and national regulations
Skills and qualifications:
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and to tight deadlines
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers yet highly pragmatic
Strong negotiating and influencing skills
Excellent communication skills.
A proactive attitude with a focus on solutions.
Proven organizational skills, including time management
Project management experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-sufficiency and an ability to work with minimum supervision
Attention to detail
Preferred skills & qualifications:
Two or more years of experience in an operational and similar role
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other productivity applications and platforms
