HTX Soccer is Hiring: Boys Academy Goalkeeper Director | Head Team Coach

HTX Soccer is currently seeking qualified applicants for the Boys Academy Goalkeeper Director | Head Team Coach position. This role is a unique opportunity to join the #1 youth soccer club in the Greater Houston area.

HTX Soccer is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with more than 8,500 members, providing development opportunities for players ages 3–18 across all ability levels. The club has a strong presence throughout Houston and competes in the Boys ECNL.

Position Overview:
This independent contractor position (1099) reports directly to the Boys Director. The selected candidate will oversee all aspects of the Boys Academy Goalkeeping Program and serve as a Head Team Coach within the Boys Academy (U13–U18).

Key Responsibilities Include:

Oversee and implement goalkeeper-specific curriculum and programming. Develop and manage the training schedule for goalkeepers. Lead team training sessions, matches, tournaments, and showcases. Conduct player evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to players and families. Educate parents on player development and program goals. Support player recruitment and placement within the Boys Academy. Extensive national travel on weekends as required for games and events.

Qualifications:

US Soccer ‘B’ License recommended. Enthusiastic, hardworking, and outgoing personality. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Prior experience in elite youth club or collegiate coaching preferred. Proficient with Microsoft 365 and video analysis tools. Must pass a risk management background check and be eligible for a Safe Sport pass (STYSA / US Club). Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Visa, Green Card, or Citizenship).
