Pay Rate: $21.00 an hourJob Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of goods to various locations, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining company standards.Responsibilities:Operate a box truck to transport goods to designated locations.Load and unload products using proper lifting techniques.Inspect vehicle before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness.Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.Communicate with dispatch or management regarding delivery status or any issues.Ensure products are handled with care and delivered in good condition.Perform basic truck maintenance (checking fluids, tires, etc.) and report any mechanical problems.Requirements:Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Proven experience as a box truck driver or in a similar delivery role.Ability to lift and move packages up to 50Ibs.Strong time management and organizational skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Knowledge of local and regional roads.Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations.Preferred: 2 years of previous experience.
