We are now recruiting a Boutique Operations Manager (BOM) for our Chadstone Fashion boutique. This is a full-time opportunity.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Fashion Business scales in size and sophistication, the Boutique Operations Manager plays an important leadership role within the boutique to ensure that operations and processes are compliant and effective to support an industry-leading client and employee experience. The Operations Manager works collaboratively across functions to support overall boutique operations to achieve operational excellence and deliver upon the boutique strategy.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL
The Boutique Operations Manager builds the culture of operations excellence, optimization, and improvement in the boutique. You will devote time with relevant stakeholders on emerging topics such as, but not limited to, Omnichannel processes, Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management and Sustainability.
YOU ARE ENERGISED BY
Working as a strategic partner to the Head of Boutique to analyze the sales and results of the boutique regularly and support strategic and tactical planning to address opportunities in collaboration with all functions including Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Style.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Lead Stock Team, CASS, Boutique Assistants, Alterations and Cashiers to ensure all operational procedures regarding sales, discounts, transfers, stock adjustments, after-sales service and all other policies are followed.
Ensures the team accurately completes daily sales and appropriate paperwork.
Ensure that Boutique SOPs are rigorously followed and implemented, emphasizing where relevant to the teams the importance of compliance with internal standards & external regulations in upholding the Brand Image.
Lead boutique level projects to elevate operational efficiency, client and employee experience.
Work closely with Head of Boutique and Retail Performance Manager to implement relevant operations projects and tools at the boutique level.
Motivates and inspires the Boutique Support Team in setting the highest standard for client and employee experience.
Supports team members to achieve “them at their best” through regular development and performance conversations.
Work with L&D stakeholders on learning and development plans for your team members and encourage career development and individual growth and stretch projects.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Several years of retail operation experience in a similar business or organization with retail and luxury being an advantage. This role requires demonstrated experience in team management.
Solid knowledge of subject matter in Retail Operations and related emerging topics e.g., Data Privacy, Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management and Sustainability.
The ability to make sound judgement and decisions in area of expertise.
Great relationship building ability, the ability to build rapport and cultivate long-lasting relationship with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Ease with embracing and keeping up with technology in a professional capacity, and a good understanding of Microsoft office, Power BI etc
