Bottling Maintenance Supervisor

**Meaningful Work from Day One:**
Supervises the bottling maintenance function, including preventive maintenance programs, line changeovers, maintaining all bottling equipment and spare parts inventory. Works hand in hand with the Bottling Operations team to produce over 21MM cases annually and meet the production schedule. Also collaborates and coordinates with various internal departments including but not limited to Processing, Receiving, Operations, Scheduling and Quality and external parties (service technicians, vendors, contractors) to ensure efficient bottling operations. Develops and supports the efforts of the Maintenance hourly workforce to ensure quality service to the Bottling operation. Ensures seamless integration and coordination between bottling maintenance personnel and bottling line teams. Maintains and manages work orders (preventive, emergency, and corrective). Effectively supervises resources within a 24/7 operational environment, aligning with company objectives, values, practices, and policies.
**What You Can Expect:**
Operations:
+ Supervises the efforts of the bottling maintenance team in the ongoing tasks of maintaining and improving all bottling and bottling related equipment in the most effective manner within all company, corporate, and governmental/regulatory guidelines and policies affecting safety, quality, sanitation, and budgetary considerations.
+ Supervises Bottling Maintenance daily operations, CMMS, COUPA, Chemical and Hazard Waste Program to ensure Company and Corporate goals are achieved.
+ Directs preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability is maintained at the highest level possible.
+ Oversees the line change-over activities to maximize bottling line production availability.
+ Provides technical support, guidance and solutions to maintenance technicians and troubleshoots any mechanical, electrical, controls network or computer related problems.
+ Provides appropriate training on equipment, technology and procedures to maintenance technicians and MMO’s.
+ Coordinates projects with general maintenance, purchasing, outside vendors and contractors, and appropriate corporate personnel to improve and/or modify equipment and operations.
+ Stays abreast with new equipment technologies and integrates with existing equipment to improve performance.
+ Coaches, facilitates and provides resources for the development and support of the work team.
+ Develops, maintains and cultivates good working relationships with other departments.
+ Works with the Bottling Project Engineers to ensure completion of projects during non- production shifts.
Administration:
+ Responsible for all administrative functions in areas of responsibility (human resources, accounting, purchasing, payroll, etc.)
+ Responsible for the execution of plant policies, plans and procedures for the Bottling Maintenance Department and to ensure that maintenance is scheduled according to the established work order priority code and is performed in a safe, timely, and effective manner to maintain efficient and reliable operations in the Bottling facility.
+ Must be knowledgeable in rules and procedures regarding safety, sanitation, quality, environmental, and other government or Company regulations related to areas of responsibility
OEE:
+ Works with Operations, Quality, Processing to gather data and analyze opportunities for improvements in OEE to meet or exceed production requirements.
+ Seeks out various means and resources to provide reliable back up in service systems, parts and skills in the event of planned or unplanned interruptions in operating areas.
+ Supports the spare parts inventory to ensure the inventory levels are optimized for world class OEE performance while being cost effective and operating within budget constraints.
Facilities:
+ Supervises the facilities maintenance functions to include but not limited to the building electrical distribution system, compressed air supply and lighting to comply with state and federal regulations of occupational health and safety, food safety compliance, including the Food and Drug Administration regulations.
Semi-Annual Maintenance Shutdowns/Outages:
+ Leads in the collection, compiling and coordination of work to occur during critical planned production outage periods. Activity requires extensive coordination, communication, scheduling, and organization for success.
+ Work is achieved through a matrix of cross functional resources (safety, engineering, environmental, production, purchasing, vendors/suppliers, contractors, and at times, local utilities).
**What You Bring to the Table:**
+ Education and Experience: Industrial Maintenance Certificate or equivalent discipline plus minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel, internal and external
+ Ability to manage and complete assigned workload independently within established deadlines
+ Ability to work whenever needed to meet departmental goals, nights, weekends and holidays
+ Must be able to keep current on technology of packaging equipment
+ Must possess computer skills – Excel, Word, SAP, CMMS
+ Great communication skills both written and verbal
