This is a full-time, in-office position located in Conroe, TX. After successfully demonstrating skills and reliability, there may be opportunities to transition into a hybrid or remote work schedule.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records for clients using QuickBooks

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts

Prepare and post journal entries as needed

Assist in generating monthly financial statements and reports

Work closely with CPAs and other team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting

Communicate effectively with clients to gather documentation and resolve discrepancies

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Experience in a CPA or public accounting firm

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Familiarity with tax prep support and year-end close

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Client-facing experience with a professional demeanor

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
3?5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public accounting or CPA firm setting

QuickBooks Certified (Online and/or Desktop)

Proficient in managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

Solid understanding of general financial principles and accounting practices

High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to handle multiple clients/accounts with confidentiality and professionalism
