Description We are looking for a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our clients team in Pleasant Hill, California. This contract to permanent role requires a proactive individual with expertise in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense tracking. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. • Perform data entry tasks related to financial records and concert expenses. • Collaborate with the showrunner to accurately transfer data from Excel into QuickBooks. • Track venue expenses, gross revenue, sales tax, tips, and band allocations for events. • Maintain detailed records in QuickBooks to support accurate financial reporting. • Partner with the accountant to ensure seamless tax and payroll processing. • Monitor and reconcile financial discrepancies to maintain clean and organized accounts. • Develop and maintain operational workflows to optimize bookkeeping processes. • Process payroll for less than 50 employees • HR and benefits administration Please reach out to John Miller for immediate consideration on this opportunity. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management. • Proficiency in QuickBooks with a strong understanding of its functions. • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data accurately. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple financial tasks effectively. • Ability to collaborate with team members and external partners. • Prior experience in tracking event-related expenses is a plus. • Excellent communication skills to ensure clarity in financial reporting.
