Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Tempe, Arizona, this role is vital to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting operations. The ideal candidate will excel in handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and managing payroll processes. Responsibilities: • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations efficiently. • Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. • Prepare and execute bank reconciliations to ensure alignment with financial statements. • Assist with month-end closing activities, including generating necessary reports. • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner. • Utilize accounting software tools such as QuickBooks and Sage50 to manage tasks effectively. • Input and maintain accurate financial data in compliance with company standards. • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve processes. • Support audits and provide documentation as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management. • Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and payroll processing. • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage50. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Ability to handle month-end close processes and generate financial reports. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team.
