Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Weymouth, Massachusetts. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting departmental operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong bookkeeping expertise and experience in QuickBooks and Excel. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness. • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure data integrity. • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including trial balances and month-end closing procedures. • Process corporate invoices and oversee payment schedules. • Assist the Finance department with various administrative tasks to support daily operations. • Provide light administrative support to executives, including organizing communication and maintaining records. • Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data. • Ensure all financial procedures adhere to company policies and industry standards. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and financial record-keeping. • Familiarity with preparing trial balances and month-end closing procedures. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and executives. • Knowledge of general accounting principles and compliance regulations.
