Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Long Beach, California. This is a Contract to permanent position within the Waste and Environmental Management industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and adaptability to handle diverse accounting tasks. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision and accuracy. • Perform heavy invoicing duties, ensuring timely and accurate billing. • Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze financial records. • Conduct accounts receivable aging analysis to track outstanding payments. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting operations and resolve discrepancies. • Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining organized records. • Support other accounting tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Monitor and address vendor and client inquiries regarding invoices and payments. Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Experience with accounts receivable aging analysis. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Adaptability to take on various accounting tasks as needed. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations.
