Description We are looking for an experienced PART-TIME Bookkeeper to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering a flexible, part-time schedule of approximately 25-30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage financial transactions and records effectively. Responsibilities: • Process checks and ensure timely deposits for accurate account management. • Handle credit card receipts and import them into the accounting system. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks to maintain financial accuracy. • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure records match financial statements. • Learn and utilize Realm software efficiently to support bookkeeping operations. • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for reporting purposes. • Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies or inquiries related to accounts. • Provide support for general financial tasks as needed in a part-time capacity. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping with a strong understanding of financial principles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems such as Realm. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication abilities to collaborate with team members.
