Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Largo, Florida. In this role, you will oversee critical financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice entry, coding, and preparation for payment approval. • Oversee accounts receivable tasks, ensuring billing accuracy and timely entry into the general ledger. • Reconcile multiple bank accounts monthly, ensuring all transactions are accurately posted to the general ledger. • Prepare and post payroll-related entries, including labor expenses and accrued payroll taxes, into the general ledger. • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy in journal entries. • Utilize financial tools to streamline billing and invoice processing. • Verify and match invoices with purchase orders and shipping documentation to ensure compliance. • Ensure proper coding of transactions for accurate general ledger reporting. • Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date financial documentation. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger postings. • Familiarity with billing systems preferred. • Ability to perform accurate journal entries and understand their impact on financial statements. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits.
