Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is integral to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring smooth financial operations, and providing essential office support. Responsibilities: • Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks , ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely data entry and reconciliation. • Accurately record funds in QuickBooks, track payments, and ensure proper documentation. • Prepare and submit quarterly financial reports through designated portals. • Organize and streamline financial files, creating efficient storage systems for long-term use. • Process checks and reconcile accounts at the end of each month to verify financial accuracy. • Provide general bookkeeping support along with administrative tasks as needed Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks. • Strong understanding of account reconciliations and financial reporting. • Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
