Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Loxahatchee, Florida. In this role, you will handle essential financial tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping and smooth financial operations. This position requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in bookkeeping practices. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions. • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies. • Utilize QuickBooks software for day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and financial reporting. • Prepare and assist with month-end closing procedures, including generating financial statements. • Monitor and maintain accurate financial records to support organizational compliance. • Address and resolve any financial discrepancies or issues promptly. • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless financial operations. • Provide support during audits and assist in preparing necessary documentation. • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information. Requirements • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Familiarity with bank reconciliations and month-end closing procedures. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
