Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a Contract to permanent basis. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded. • Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track financial data efficiently. • Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payments and collections. • Compile financial reports and assist in budgeting activities. • Monitor and reconcile discrepancies in financial transactions. • Manage payroll processing and associated tax filings. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. • Provide support during audits and other financial reviews. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounting principles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software. • Demonstrated expertise in managing accounts payable and receivable. • Strong skills in performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. • Ability to generate financial reports and assist in budgeting processes. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members. • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
