Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a meticulous individual skilled in financial recordkeeping and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining accurate accounts and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities: • Perform accurate reconciliations for bank accounts and other financial records. • Calculate and reconcile garnishments with precision and adherence to guidelines. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. • Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and reports. • Prepare and analyze financial statements to support decision-making. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. • Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support organizational goals. • Maintain organized and secure financial documentation for auditing purposes. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, including reconciliations. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Ability to calculate and reconcile garnishments accurately. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
