We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our team in Douglassville, Pennsylvania. This opportunity is a long-term contract role and requires a strong background in the Real Estate industry, with proven expertise in managing financial records and ensuring precision in accounting practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities and a dedication to producing top-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Data Management: Accurately input accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions into company financial systems.
+ Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and accounts receivable records to ensure accuracy and eliminate discrepancies.
+ Report Preparation: Compile financial statements and detailed reports for review by stakeholders.
+ Client Service: Address customer service inquiries related to financial matters professionally and effectively.
+ Compliance Tasks: Process re-sale documents and ensure adherence to established compliance guidelines.
+ Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations to maintain current and precise financial records.
+ Software Use: Utilize Yardi software for efficient and effective management of accounting operations.
+ Administrative Support: Assist with office administrative functions as needed to facilitate smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Experience: At least 3 years of proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in the Real Estate industry.
+ Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or substantial relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Yardi software is required.
+ Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bank reconciliation processes.
+ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
+ Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in financial data and account management.
+ Organization: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
+ Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with Real Estate compliance requirements and resale documentation processes is highly preferred.
