Description We are looking for a skilled part-time Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. This part-time role requires someone experienced in financial recordkeeping and proficient in QuickBooks. The position involves working on-site, with a flexible schedule of two to three days per week. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate recordkeeping. • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial statements. • Process payroll on a recurring basis, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks. • Generate financial reports and summaries as needed for internal review. • Assist with routine audits to verify the accuracy of financial data. • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies or questions related to financial transactions. Requirements • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with expertise in financial recordkeeping. • Proficiency in QuickBooks software for managing accounts and generating reports. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations. • Solid understanding of payroll processing and related compliance requirements. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and addressing inquiries.
