Description Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in the redistribution industry. This role will be pivotal in managing financial transactions, ensuring records are up-to-date and accurate, and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetSuite, enabling them to effectively monitor and maintain financial data within a fast-paced, dynamic business environment. Key Responsibilities: + Daily Transactions Management: Record, classify, and maintain daily transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activity. + NetSuite Utilization: Leverage NetSuite ERP tools to manage financial data and workflows, including proper categorization of expenses and income, reporting, and reconciliation. + Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. + Expense Tracking: Monitor company expenses and generate reports for management to assist in budgeting and cost control. + Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, leveraging insights from NetSuite tools. + Tax Preparation Support: Ensure the completeness and accuracy of records to assist the accounting team or external tax preparers during tax reporting periods. + Inventory Financial Management: Track and maintain financial records related to inventory purchases, shipments, and redistribution activities, helping to align operational and financial records. + Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry-specific regulations and accounting best practices. + Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with operations and procurement teams to ensure alignment on financial records related to redistribution activities. Requirements Requirements: + Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience; experience in the redistribution or supply chain industry is preferred. + NetSuite Proficiency: Proven experience using NetSuite ERP for bookkeeping tasks, reporting, and reconciliation. + Education: Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered. + Skills: + Strong understanding of general ledger functions and reconciliation processes. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. + Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently and independently. + Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the redistribution industry or familiarity with supply chain costs and inventory accounting is a plus. + Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to produce highly accurate results while managing multiple tasks. + Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration across departments.
