We are looking for a highly organized and adaptable professional to support a variety of financial and administrative functions within a mission-driven organization. This role involves managing key transactional processes, maintaining financial integrity, and contributing to the overall operational rhythm of the organization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating both structured tasks and evolving priorities in a collaborative, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and process a consistent volume of financial transactions on a recurring basis, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal standards.Oversee payroll operations for a diverse employee base using a cloud-based payroll platform, ensuring timely and compliant execution.Serve as a liaison with external partners and vendors to facilitate the smooth flow of financial documentation and communications.Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders, including field-based personnel, and provide timely support across a range of operational needs.Maintain and update financial records and systems, contributing to the integrity and accessibility of organizational data.Participate in the preparation of periodic financial summaries and assist with audits, reconciliations, and other cyclical reporting activities.Support broader administrative and operational initiatives as needed, with a willingness to take on responsibilities that may evolve over time.Core Competencies:
Foundational understanding of accounting principles, including payables, receivables, and payroll processing.Familiarity with digital financial tools and platforms, including but not limited to Paylocity, Excel, and QuickBooks.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external contacts.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive financial and personnel information.Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting is advantageous.Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvementPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.44/hr.
