Bookkeeper

Primary Duties:
+ Accurately document daily financial activities, including incoming and outgoing payments.
+ Contribute to the upkeep of precise general ledger records.
+ Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure account accuracy.
+ Assist in compiling financial summaries and reports for leadership.
+ Maintain organized records of financial documents and files.
+ Help with account reviews and identify discrepancies or unusual variances.
+ Address internal questions related to financial data and processes.
+ Provide documentation and support during annual audits.
+ Work collaboratively to uphold internal accounting standards and procedures.
+ Take on additional finance-related tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a similar discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
+ Minimum of two years in bookkeeping or a comparable accounting role, ideally in a healthcare setting.
+ Understanding of basic accounting concepts and familiarity with healthcare billing.
+ Experience with medical insurance billing and coding is advantageous.
+ Skilled in using accounting platforms and Microsoft Excel.
+ High level of accuracy and strong organizational abilities.
+ Capable of managing tasks independently and setting priorities effectively.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr.
