Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Naples, Florida. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day financial operations. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently. • Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate transaction tracking. • Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and financial reporting. • Assist in month-end closing procedures to ensure timely financial reporting. • Process payroll transactions, ensuring accurate and on-time payments. • Maintain detailed records of financial transactions and update ledgers as required. • Generate reports using Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and trends. • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and practices. • Address discrepancies and resolve issues in financial records promptly. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes. • Excellent skills in performing account and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and resolve financial discrepancies.
