Description Our Client in the Construction & Manufacturing industry is hiring Bookkeeper / HR & Accounting Coordinator!
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / HR & Accounting Coordinator to support the day-to-day administrative and accounting functions. In this role, you will handle bookkeeping and office coordination tasks while working closely with HR and other departments. Over time, the role is intended to grow as you develop skills in payroll and HR functions.
The ideal candidate is bilingual, tech-savvy, people-oriented, and committed to a "forever company" where they can build their career for the next 10-15 years. You will have the opportunity to modernize and improve processes while learning and contributing to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform bookkeeping functions including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), reconciliations, and the preparation of financial reports
-Support HR and accounting departments by organizing and maintaining documentation, records, and internal systems.
-Collaborate with team members to evaluate and improve internal office processes to make them more efficient and modern.
-Work closely with the payroll/HR team to understand basic payroll laws and practices.
-Assist with future payroll processing implementation (starting in 2-3 years).
-Develop fluency in ADP, Sage 50, Enterprise21, and OurPeople software to streamline operations
-Ensure compliance with accounting and safety regulations across office processes.
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED required.
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
-2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred.
Skills:
-Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software (e.g., Sage 50, ADP, or similar programs).
-Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
-Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across departments.
-Self-motivated, willing to learn, and eager to grow into future leadership roles.
-Tech-savvy and comfortable working with both pen-and-paper processes and modern software systems.
Job Details:
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Location: Fully on-site.
