Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our clients team in Concord, California. The ideal candidate will manage bookkeeping tasks, certified payroll, and administrative functions with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. • Manage payroll operations, including certified payroll tracking using organizational tools. • Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with prevailing wage requirements for state projects. • Utilize QuickBooks Online to perform bookkeeping tasks and maintain financial data integrity. • Coordinate administrative functions related to office management and financial operations. • Collaborate with third-party payroll processors to ensure seamless payroll execution. • Prepare detailed financial reports and documentation as required for projects. • Ensure adherence to financial deadlines and compliance standards. • Support financial close activities in collaboration with organizational systems. Requirements • Proven experience with bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel for financial management. • Familiarity with payroll processes, including certified payroll tracking. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records. • Ability to handle data entry efficiently and maintain organized records. • Knowledge of prevailing wage requirements and related compliance standards. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external vendors.
