EisnerAmper is seeking an organized individual for the role of a part-time bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. They will exhibit a strong work ethic and a commitment to professional excellence and superior client service. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as this position involves significant interaction with clients and staff. What Work You Will be Responsible For:

Client relationship management

Payroll and quarterly reporting

Reconciliations

Accounts payable & receivable

General ledger

Journal entries

Special financial projects

Financial statement preparation

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma

2-4 years experience in an accounting function

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel as well as QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online

Demonstrates a strong understanding of the accounting processes

Proficient in utilization of data entry skills and Microsoft Excel

Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of information

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication and relationship-building abilities

Capable of working and communicating effectively with professionals at all levels

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines

Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Good working knowledge of AP, AR, Payroll, monthly P&L and balance sheets

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

Experience in public accounting or with bookkeeping tasks

Prior experience with QuickBooks

Prior experience with payroll and quarterly payroll reporting requirements
