Bookkeeper
Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. This role is vital for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing diverse bookkeeping tasks with precision. Responsibilities: • Record and manage financial transactions using the accounting software "Construction Partner," including learning and adapting to its unique functionalities. • Maintain detailed accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries to ensure up-to-date financial reporting. • Perform regular reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial documents to verify accuracy. • Process invoices, subcontractor pay applications, purchase orders, quarterly taxes, and payment requests promptly. • Prepare and deliver financial reports and summaries to management, highlighting key insights and performance metrics. • Handle payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements in an accurate and timely manner. • Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely payments and compliance with agreements. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and coordinate with external auditors during audits. • Support continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes and contribute to team collaboration. • Uphold a positive and proactive attitude while working independently or as part of the team. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000. Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Life insurance 401k with match 2 weeks PTO 6 paid holidays Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. • Strong proficiency in account reconciliation and financial record maintenance. • Familiarity with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursement procedures. • Competence in using accounting software; experience with "Construction Partner" is advantageous but not required. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. • Knowledge of month-end close procedures and financial reporting. • Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
