Description Are you a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable bookkeeper looking for a new opportunity? Robert Half's growing non-profit client in Foster City is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and supporting our overall financial health. Responsibilities: + Manage and maintain all aspects of the general ledger. + Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently and accurately. + Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly. + Prepare and process payroll, including associated tax filings. + Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. + Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures. + Maintain organized and accessible financial records and documentation. + Assist with budget preparation and monitoring. + Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies. Requirements Qualifications: + Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role. + Proficiency with QuickBooks + Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). + Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. + Exceptional organizational and time management skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + [Optional: Mention specific education/certification, e.g., Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping certification is a plus.] Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
