Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop new concert, family, comedy, religious, sporting and theatrical programming for ASM Global Jacksonville.Negotiate venue deals with promoters and/or agents.Monitor and maintain the booking calendar for all entertainment spaces.Obtain full understanding of venue deal points and agreements.Assist in the distribution of fact sheets and show related information to all facility personnel, including SAVOR.Assist in settlement of ticketed shows when necessary.Works directly with the City of Jacksonville Director of Sports and Entertainment to secure new city-wide events.Contact prospective promoters, agents, managers and individuals to initiate the sales effort. Follow-up on leads generated by outside sources.Prepare statistics, reports and budget presentations for top management.Negotiate, compile, develop and execute contracts and venue agreements (to include tracing of contract, deposits and insurance).Establish expansive network of arena, theater and artist promoters, agents, representatives/managers.Develop new high-priority special events to grow venue attendance and revenueCoordinate with Marketing Manager to develop a marketing plan for shows in all facilities.Assists with public relations activities.Work in conjunction with building marketing, event services, operations, and food & beverage staff in the planning and execution of special events.Work with Director of Marketing to design sponsorship sales plans to support special events and projects.Conduct special studies or research as assigned by the General Manager.Maintains, at all times, high standards, positive attitude, and professional appearance.Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.All other duties as assigned by ManagerQualifications

Demonstrate knowledge of principles, practices and terminology of touring concert industry and booking.Work independently to develop new special events from conceptualization to execution.Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment.Operate a personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office software as well as ASM Booking.Operate standard office equipment including copier and fax machine.Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of four years relevant experience in management.Industry booking, production or marketing experience required.Physical Demands
