Job Description

This role is responsible for maintaining, installing, and commissioning of the machinery and equipment to an agreed standard in the area of responsibility.

Attend and conduct Safety meetingsConduct and participate in Risk assessmentsCarryout maintenance inspections of machinery and equipment.Ensure lifting and working at heights equipment compliance with legal requirementsAttend to breakdowns and emergencies as requiredEnsure that material, spares and equipment are available as requiredEnsure proper and adequate on the job training and coaching is provided to subordinatesComplying to environmental requirementsCompleting job cards and description of work and spares used (PM’s)Performing work to the required standards and specifications

Qualifications5’O Level Subjects including Mathematics, English and ScienceApprenticeship trained and Certified Competent as Boilermaker (Class 1)

Experience, Knowledge and Skills 

Minimum 5 years working experience post apprenticeship training.Must be familiar with SHEQ Systems.
