Boiler Operator/Maintenance Engineer

Department:2007900 MAINTENANCE - SMMC HOSP

Job Description:Operate and maintain boiler plant for medical campus. Observe and dispatch maintenance engineers for building automation system alarms regarding HVAC systems, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment. Assist the chief in duties regarding HW boilers around campus.
Additionally, may respond to emergency repair requests and carry out additional responsibilities as delegated.

Education Qualifications:

2 years of classroom training or 2 years of experience in building maintenance.

Minnesota 2nd class B boilers license or greater

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Minnesota 2nd class B boilers license or greater

Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer.
