We have an Opportunity for BMS Application/System Engineer to join us at Honeywell in  Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge, CB2 0AA UK. You will Develop Software and Graphics that effectively accomplish client objectives and user needs. When identified and requested, review and revise macros for applications.

This person will be reporting directly into the Field Service Leader also based on site full time (Francis Crick Avenue, Onsite- Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge, CB2 0AA)

Key Responsibilities

Analyse and edit existing software to improve functionality. Remodel and adapt graphics when needed. Discover HLI over Modbus to establish proper communication between equipment and systems. Identify specific client needs and preferences related to applications. Review and test software and graphics to ensure they are error and bug free. Act as a technical support to client and FM team. Experience with Care or CPO advantageous. Work with colleagues to identify technical requirements and develop solutions. Create and present software prototypes. Collaborate with software and graphics integrations engineer. Contribute to new project proposals including design/installation/commissioning. Maintain positive client relationships. Ability to manage and monitor all installed iBMS systems and infrastructure through the EBI/user interface. Oversight of infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools. Ability to see potential issues and proactively advise solutions. Ability to work with client team to implement fixes identified. Competency in writing and maintaining software logic to increase system efficiency and reduce downtime. Competency in writing reports, organising routine maintenance and coordinating shutdowns. Understand the importance of following Method Statements. Ability to carry out on site Risk assessments. Contribute to all reasonable tasks and requests of Systems Manager. Act as first point of contact for any issues related to iBMS, CCTV and access control systems across the campus.

Must Have Skills

Configure access control system Controllers, Readers, BGU etc. Honeywell Tema Controllers knowledge is preferred Configure CCTV. Proficient in Building CCTV management software. Honeywell DVM is preferred Knowledge of Intercom System. Knowledge of Fire Alarm System. Knowledge of basic Networking and IP configurations Act as first point of contact for any issues related to iBMS, CCTV and access control systems across the campus
