Responsibilities The Snowcat Operator's typical job functions included: Learning how to operate all slope-grooming equipment Maintaining mountain skiing surfaces to the finest level possible Safely operating a turbo-charged diesel powered snowcats with hydrostatic drives, 12 way blade and multi-function rototiller rear implements Operating all machine functions, such as blade controls, rear implement controls and steering Minimizing down time through basis preventative maintenance, cleanliness and up-keep of machines Covering rocks and obstacles on slopes; moving snow from low wear areas to high wear areas Communicating as needed to shop mechanics concerning mechanical problems Qualifications This position may be for you if: You are at least 18 years old You possess a valid driver's license You have achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays You have one to three months related experience and/or training
