As a Bluetooth Software Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping mobile phone OEMs resolve Bluetooth-related issues, ensuring timely product launches. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Android Bluetooth framework and stack developers, multimedia audio support engineers, firmware developers, SoC system engineers, and hardware teams. Your responsibilities will include analyzing logs (QXDM, logcat, kernel, BTSnoop, air sniffer logs), identifying root causes, verifying fixes, and delivering solutions to OEM partners. You will also gather and clarify feature requests from OEMs, work with development teams to define implementation plans, and document common issues and solutions for broader dissemination. Additionally, you may be required to provide training to OEMs on new Bluetooth features. **Responsibilities:** + Analyze and troubleshoot Bluetooth issues reported by OEMs on Qualcomm mobile platforms + Collaborate with internal engineering teams to identify, verify, and deliver fixes + Interpret and analyze various system logs (QXDM, logcat, kernel, BTSnoop, air sniffer logs.) + Collect and clarify feature requests from OEMs and coordinate implementation plans + Document recurring issues and share best practices with OEM partners + Provide technical training and support for new Bluetooth features as needed **Skills/Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field + 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Android development + Familiarity with Bluetooth and BLE technologies + Proficiency in Java and C/C++ programming + Strong debugging and analytical skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment **Minimum Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
