Job Summary     

The Bolts Blue Crew serve as brand ambassadors for the Tampa Bay Lightning, engaging fans in the community, in-arena and at team events. The Bolts Blue Crew is comprised of energetic, outgoing and confident individuals who use their unique talents, personalities, and performance skills to help create world-class fan engagements while serving as an extension of the Tampa Bay Lightning brand.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo create a welcoming, fun and energetic atmosphere at our games, and in the community, by providing inspiration, enthusiasm, and spirit for the Tampa Bay LightningTo exemplify a positive attitude, healthy lifestyle, strong work ethic, commitment, and determinationTo connect with the community as ambassadors dedicated to supporting the team’s outreach and charitable initiatives

Game/Event ResponsibilitiesWelcoming fans and interacting with guestsExecuting sponsored activations such as contestant games, on-ice games, and distributing give-away itemsEntertaining and encouraging fans to cheer for the teamPosing for photos with fansAssisting in-game talent such as hosts and mascotsMaintenance of game presentation props and working areas

QualificationsGeneral knowledge of the NHL and Tampa Bay LightningTime management skillsEnergetic personality that is able to work collaboratively with a large teamExceptional communication skills and ability to service guestsCan entertain in front of large groups of peopleCan commit to approximately 75% of the Tampa Bay Lightning home game schedule

Working ConditionsIndoor and outdoor physical activities for an average of 5 hoursAbility to lift a maximum of 50 poundsAbility to climb stairs and move quicklyIce Skating ability (optional)
