Job Summary

Per Diem position, hours scheduled as needed.

Responsible for delivering high-quality, life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training to hospital staff, patients, and the community. This role ensures that individuals are equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Licenses and Credentials

Current certification as a BLS Instructor required.

Experience

Experience in teaching CPR, BLS, ACLS, or PALS courses, particularly in a healthcare setting 1-2 years preferred andExperience in a healthcare setting 0-1 year preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

In-depth knowledge of CPR techniques, life-saving practices, and emergency response proceduresStrong instructional and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical concepts to diverse audiencesPatient, calm, and able to handle high-pressure situations, providing clear instructions during training and emergency simulationsStrong organizational skills, with the ability to manage training schedules, certifications, and record-keeping accuratelyAbility to assess and evaluate participant performance, providing constructive feedback in a supportive and encouraging mannerAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of CPR training and certification.
