This role is ideal for a candidate with a passion for the energy transition, who is eager to be at the forefront of these dynamic, fast-changing industries. The successful candidate will have rich experience in cultivating research-driven service relationships with key clients in the energy transition ecosystem, particularly power utilities, national oil companies, and banks. You are a creative, driven, and strategic individual who is also goal-oriented and possesses a strong, collaborative personality. You are professional yet personable, intelligent and analytical, and you know how to balance quality with speed. **We'll trust you to:** + Strategically grow research-driven service relationships with key clients in the energy transition ecosystem, including power utilities, national oil companies, and banks + Source new business opportunities and identify leads for BNEF's product offerings and services across the energy, automotive, technology, and financial industries + Collaborate closely with the BNEF account management team and Bloomberg Terminal representatives in the territory to expand existing relationships and pursue new leads + Act as a creative and proactive partner in developing client engagement strategies and bespoke solutions + Coordinate client events by inviting key clients and prospects and handling logistics + Respond to client requests with a quick turnaround, ensuring a high-quality, thoughtful response + Assist in the preparation of major sales activities, such as content presentations for senior audiences + Act as a strategic bridge between clients and our product and analysis teams, providing thoughtful feedback on client needs and market trends while also passionately defending and demonstrating the value of our research to their business + Manage proposals and contracts **You'll need to have:** + A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the research or professional services space directly relevant to energy transition + A deep understanding and strong interest in the energy transition ecosystem and its key players + A proven track record of building and growing industry relationships and exceeding sales targets + Experience with CRM systems and the ability to diligently manage your sales pipeline + The ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple parallel tasks + Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills + Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin **We'd love to see:** + An existing, robust network within the energy transition ecosystem in China **If this sounds like you:** Apply if you think we're a good match.
