We are seeking a Senior Industry Analyst for SouthEast Asia to join our team in Singapore. You would be part of an expanding team responsible for conducting analysis on a periodic and topical basis, and authoring equity research on companies within multiple sectors in the Southeast Asia region. You are an experienced analyst who excels in fundamental company research and has the ability to produce insightful thematic reports that highlight key market trends and opportunities across the region.

The ideal candidate should be able to cover/monitor 30 companies and independently identify and analyze cross-industry themes, drawing comparisons between companies spanning different sectors. This role requires a strong ability to coordinate with regional strategists, analysts and economists -- connecting bottom-up analysis with broader market and macro-economic narratives.

We'll trust you to:Monitor and interpret major company developments and identify macro themes and trends affecting the industriesManage earnings cycle, including previews and reviewsWork closely with BI analysts and strategists located in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, London and New York to coordinate and collaborate on analysisBuild and maintain relationships with investors, industry and market professionals, investor relations personnel, and senior management at target companies.Work with Data teams to ensure data completeness and quality control for existing and new data sets of target companiesDeliver high quality and timely content while also growing our data offeringYou'll need to have:At least 5 years of equity research experience in Asia preferably with a focus on Southeast AsiaExperience interpreting financial statements and performing quantitative financial analysisExperience using Microsoft excel including but not limited to financial modeling Knowledge of advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of finance and accountingExceptional primary research and writing skillsProficiency in both spoken and written EnglishDemonstrated continuous career growth within an organizationThe ability to be a self-starter, independent thinker and collaborative teammateStrong organization skills and capable of handling multiple projectsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceWe'd love to see:CFA designation Sell-side or buy-side Research Analyst experience
