Job Details:
This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Pay: $16.70/hour
Responsible to supervisor and lead person
Must be able to operate blending, mixing and chilling machines and prepare meat for the Formax/REVO machine
Must chill meat to prescribed temperature
Must be able to operate the Formax, Grinding, REVO and other required machines.
Must be able to do required paperwork and keep product flowing to prevent slowing of line
Must be able to follow company mixing procedures
Must maintain a good attendance record
Must be able to perform other duties as required by the supervisor or lead
Other duties as assigned by Management
SAFETY:
Must keep hands out of the discharge openings and away from the agitators at all times.
Must not enter or reach into the machine unless positive safety precautions have been followed.
Must not ride on V-Mag lift.
PHYSICAL – Strong, must be able to lift, push or pull up to 70 pounds and bend and stand for 100% of production hours.
EDUCATION – Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
RATE OF WORK – Fast
QUALITY OF WORK – Must be neat with work
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS – Must be able to handle responsibility and have good communication skills.
ENVIRONMENT – Must be able to work around breader dust and in a temperature of 50 degrees F or less.

Must have three months of consecutive work history with one employer within the last 12 months and/or participating in relevant training/schooling in the last 12 month to be considered for this position
