  Accurately weigh and measure ingredients for use in blends.

  Maintain accurate paper records of the quantities of ingredients added to batches.

 

Key responsibilities

  Use basic math skills, including fractions, to calculate quantities of ingredients needed for partial batches.

  Assist with detailed cleaning activities in blending room as well as other areas of plant on a regular basis.

  Deliver a clean, well-ordered blending room to replacement each shift.

  Operate a vacuum-assisted lift, digital scales, paper recycling compressor, pallet lift, and mixer.

  Stage all required materials for pending blends in advance of shift change.

  Basic Computer skills required. Prior SAP or inventory control experience is beneficial.

Qualifications and skills

Minimum Qualifications

  High School Diploma or GED preferred, but no required.

  Must be able to tolerate the listed physical and environmental demands of this position with or without accommodations.

  Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.

  Must have some work experience doing heavy manual labor within the last 5 years.

  Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

The typical starting pay for this role is $20.93 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
