Job Description/Responsibilities:
Blackstone Credit & Insurance is one of the largest credit asset managers in the world and is a leading investor in structured credit through its Infrastructure & Asset-Based Credit platform. The Infrastructure & Asset-Based Credit group employs a broad strategy with investments across infrastructure debt, asset-based lending, sustainable resources, specialty finance, and corporate solutions through both private and public markets. The group targets investments across multiple key sectors including fund finance, consumer finance, commercial finance, transportation, energy transition, and infrastructure.
This Senior Associate role will be focused on fund finance and key responsibilities include:
Manage the execution of fund finance transactions which include financial modelling, investment due diligence, legal documentation review, preparation of materials for investment committee processes, and coordinating across all internal and external counterparties including counsel, tax, banks, and/or rating agencies
Monitor existing investments including tracking KPI’s.
Candidates should expect to work on numerous projects at once across various investment opportunities and take on an active role in assisting with and driving origination.
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have the following:
4+ years of experience in fund finance, structured finance, asset-based lending, or a related field, with a focus on financial modelling, investment due diligence, legal documentation review, and ability to manage the investment process from start to finish
Strong financial modeling skills, with past experience modeling and evaluating transactions
Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Strong organizational and process management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas succinctly
A strong team player who can also think and work independently, taking ownership of assignments and driving them to completion
Manages multiple tasks, deadlines and responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field

Expected annual base salary range:
$150,000 - $215,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
