The Cloud Operations team is looking for a BizOps Engineer I to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
●\tParticipate in 24x7 shifts.
●\tMonitor the stability of our infrastructure with various tools.
●\tHandle incident response, troubleshooting and fix for various servers/services.
●\tHandle escalations as per policies/procedures.
●\tCommunicate clearly on tickets, phone calls made to the teams about various issues.
●\tCoordinate with different internal groups to resolve recurrent problems, alerts, and follow-up on escalated issues.
●\tExhibit a sense of urgency to resolve issues.
●\tEnsure SLAs and Operational standards are met.
●\tContribute to operations runbooks and documentation.
●\tEnsure smooth handoffs between shifts.
●\tPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Skills
●\tStrong analytical skills and a desire to learn new concepts and technologies and apply them.
●\tStrong attitude to take ownership and responsibility for the production servers/services.
●\tFamiliar with supporting a production application and incident management.\t
●\tUnderstanding of infrastructure and application performance monitoring tools.
●\tAWS: Good knowledge of AWS services EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, IAM.
●\tLinux: Good knowledge of Linux systems, vi/vim, netstat, free, ps/top/atop/dstat, fstab/disk labels, filesystem, IPtables, sysstat (sar/vmstat/iostat etc), & startup scripts, sudo, selinux, audit logging.
●\tGood to have experience on monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk
●\tGood to have knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
●\tGood to have knowledge of scripting languages.
●\tFundamentals: Basic Networking & Security, TCP/UDP, SSL certificates, Application Protocols: SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, SFTP
