BISO Analyst

We are looking for a BISO Analyst to play a pivotal role in supporting the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) in shaping and driving the organisation's security programme for one of our key customers, a leading health and beauty retailer and pharmacy chain.

This role is perfect for an experienced Executive Assistant looking to expand their skill set into the dynamic world of cybersecurity. You’ll act as the BISO’s trusted representative in meetings, capturing actionable insights and driving follow-ups, while also contributing to the evaluation of cutting-edge security tools and ensuring documentation aligns with policy standards.

Your main tasks and accountabilities will be:

Provide comprehensive support to the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) in the development and implementation of information security policies and procedures, driving the organisation's information security programme development. Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. Prepare and maintain detailed security reports, including compliance status and security metrics. Represent the BISO at meetings and events, providing accurate meeting summaries and documenting agreed actions with owners and due dates. Assist in the evaluation and selection of security tools and technologies Review proposed documentation changes for adherence to policy and recommend changes where required Provide administrative support to the BISO, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organising documentation.

What do we expect from you?

Minimum 8 years in a similar role, with expertise in vendor analysis, contract reviews, sales operations, and executive assistance (e.g., calendar management, meeting scheduling). Foundational understanding of cybersecurity and information security policies (highly valued). Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in business process analysis, policy adherence, and cross-department collaboration. Available to travel within the UK for onsite/offsite meetings. High attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work efficiently in teams.
