Completes customer surveys gathering necessary information to create sales proposals, scope of service and resources needed to complete work.
Educates customers on structural or other issues creating opportunity for bird infestation.
Serves as a knowledge expert on bird infestation.
Works with district managers to identify and assign resources to complete work.
Leads and participates in completing service work, trains and coaches service specialists to ensure work is completed according to required standards and protocols. This includes using specialized equipment including lifts to complete service.
Works with cross-divisional partners, district managers and service specialists to achieve annual new business sales goals by prospecting and obtaining bird management sales opportunities that prevent, deter or eliminates birds from customer locations.
Provides customer-specific training with assigned service specialist including Food Retail, F&B, FSR, QSR, hospitality and heath care accounts.
Follows up with customers upon completion of the work to ensure customer satisfaction and collects payment from customers.
Completes ongoing training for license certification requirements in multiple states and specialized safety training and lift certification
Keeps abreast of the industry’s changing regulatory landscape and Ecolab's product/service offerings to ensure quality bird management.
Maintains safe driving record and safe work practices
Basic Requirements:
Must have 1 years previous bird management service and sales experience
Minimum 5 years work or military experience
Hold lift certification or be able to obtain within one month of start
Ability to work at heights greater than 100 feet
This position will require frequent travel based on customer needs with up to 75% overnight travel
Able to lift/carry (70) pounds
21 years of age or older
Valid driver's license, acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Possess or able to obtain multiple state certification & business licensing
Must meet minimum state pesticide applicator certification/licensing/registration requirements in order to work independently and with limited supervision
Ability to read and write English
Work a flexible schedule including day, night, or a combination shift
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Experience in bird netting installation highly preferred
Experience trapping birds and/or wildlife with mist nets and other devices highly preferred
Additional Qualifications
Handle and manage mathematical calculations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A high level of problem-solving skills and deductive reasoning
Ability to lead and train others
Effective time management, project leadership and organizational skills
Ability to provide solutions for customers
Motivated to work in service leadership capacity or independently based on the situation
Effective computer skills necessary for success (MS Office Software)
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The total Compensation range for this position is $82,000-$123,000 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
