Daily challengesThe BIP Junior Developer assists in developing and maintaining BI Publisher reports for Oracle Cloud ERP modules. This entry-level role is ideal for early-career professionals who support the reporting team by creating templates, working on data model tasks, and learning Oracle SaaS data structures.
Template Development Assistance - Assist in designing RTF or Excel-based report templates in BI Publisher; Format output layouts for PDFs, spreadsheets, and print-ready documents
Data Model Support - Help in creating and modifying simple data models using SQL and seeded views; Test and validate data outputs from Oracle SaaS modules
Testing & Debugging - Execute test runs and compare report output with expected data; Assist in identifying and resolving formatting or data issues
Documentation & Maintenance - Maintain documentation of templates, logic, and report usage instructions; Track changes and update versions of reports across development cycles
Learning & Collaboration - Participate in report walkthroughs and team reviews; Coordinate with functional consultants to understand reporting needs
eXperience and skills requiredFluent in spoken and verbal English
0–2 years of experience or academic background in Oracle BI Publisher or SQL-based reporting
Basic understanding of SQL, XML, and report design fundamentals
Exposure to Oracle SaaS ERP data models or any enterprise reporting system
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Considered as advantage:
Familiarity with Oracle ERP Cloud modules (Financials, SCM, Procurement)
Exposure to RTF template building, bursting logic, or OTBI reports
Willingness to learn and apply Oracle Cloud reporting best practices
