Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Biomedical Technician for our Easton, MD site. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the operational efficiency of laboratory and medical equipment.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain environmental chambers and all fluid delivery pumps.Calibrate laboratory equipment including balances, pH meters, and pipettes.Manage lab facilities and ensure they are in optimal condition.Handle samples by labeling, sorting, and storing them appropriately.Prepare buffers and monitor laboratory temperatures.Track the usage of equipment and document any new equipment.Clean and sanitize laboratory equipment regularly.Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of lab instrumentation and medical equipment.Ensure compliance with GMP standards during testing and calibration.Essential SkillsExperience with calibration and preventive maintenance.Ability to troubleshoot and repair biomedical and lab instrumentation.Proficiency with testing and calibrating equipment parts.Familiarity with GMP standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in handling medical and test equipment.Ability to determine repair or replacement needs for equipment parts.Work Environment

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as required. The role supports three adjacent facilities and requires working one weekend per month. The facilities operate 365 days a year, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment within a large global company offering significant opportunities for growth.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Easton, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
