Job Title: Biomedical TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Biomedical Technician to join our team at the Easton, MD site. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our laboratory facilities and equipment. Responsibilities + Maintain environmental chambers and fluid delivery pumps. + Ensure the upkeep of lab facilities. + Calibrate laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, and pipettes. + Manage samples, including labeling, sorting, and storage. + Prepare buffers and monitor temperatures. + Track equipment usage and document new equipment. + Clean and sanitize laboratory equipment. + Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on lab instrumentation. + Troubleshoot and repair medical and test equipment. + Adhere to GMP standards. Essential Skills + Experience with calibration, preventive maintenance, and lab equipment. + Proficient in biomedical and lab instrumentation troubleshooting and repair. + Ability to test and calibrate equipment parts to determine repairs or replacements needed. Work Environment The work environment is dynamic, supporting three facilities located next-door to each other, open 365 days a year. This full-time position requires a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed and weekend work once a month. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
