Sodexo’s BMET Trainee Program offers a unique opportunity to launch a career in the Biomedical Technology field through a structured combination of on-the-job experience and formal training. This comprehensive program is designed to build foundational skills and technical knowledge essential for success in the healthcare technology industry. Over the course of 18 months, trainees will gain hands-on experience supporting senior technicians, performing incoming and routine inspections, scheduling equipment maintenance, and conducting minor troubleshooting. Upon successful completion of the program and earning the CABT Certification—an industry-recognized credential issued by AAMI—participants will be well-prepared for continued growth within the Biomedical Technology profession.

What You BringRecent graduation or certification in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
Strong interest in developing a long-term career in Healthcare Technology Management
Eagerness to learn and apply technical knowledge in a real-world healthcare setting
Willingness to be mentored and collaborate with experienced HTM professionals
Basic understanding of electronics, instrumentation, or medical devices (a plus, but not required)
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and service-oriented approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
