Job DescriptionIndependently perform complex quantitative analyses of plasma and serum samples using LC-MS/MS technology. Responsible for all steps of the analysis process: weighing of compounds, preparation of solutions, preparation of standards and QCs in biological matrices, extraction of samples, start-up of the analysis equipment, processing of data, transfer of results for reporting. Trouble shoot and solve technical problems independently. Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, and federal GLP/GCP guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.Document the entire analysis process in ELN. Develop new bioanalytical methods. Actively contribute to improvement processes within the team.QualificationsEducation:
Minimum of a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field with up to 3 years proven experience OR Master’s with at least 9 years of proven experience in a laboratory setting OR Bachelors with at least 12 years of proven experience in a laboratory setting is required.Experience and Skills:
Hands-on laboratory experience with developing, validating, and running PK assays on LC-MS/MS is required. Experience with immunocapture and sample extraction (PPE, LLE, SPE) is required.Prior experience with handling of biological matrices from animals and human subjects is required.Experience with validating assays and analyzing samples in a Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) setting is required.Prior experience with ligand binding assay format (e.g., MSD), automation platforms (e.g. Hamilton STAR), Watson LIMS and electronic lab notebooks is preferred.Proven organizational and planning skills, attention to details, and strong record-keeping skills are preferred.Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a dynamic team.Additional InformationThis position is Full-Time, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with overtime as needed.
