Bindery Operator
**Job Title: Bindery Set Up Operator** **Job Description** This role bridges traditional press operation with modern digital and programmable technologies. The operator will be working with the folder, stitcher, perfect binder, and other smaller machines, and will program and set up 4-5 learned machines. Training will be provided on interfaces and software systems. **Responsibilities** + Set up and adjust the Bindery machines for each job. + Load paper, ink, and other materials into the press. + Program and adjust press settings using digital interfaces or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). + Monitor print runs for quality and consistency. + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. + Follow safety and quality control procedures. + Collaborate with prepress and finishing teams. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience as a Bindery setup operator. + Programming experience is a plus. + Tape measure/ruler experience required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to follow and read tickets. + Strong teamwork skills and ability to train others. + Understanding of tape measure and ruler. + Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools. + Experience with bindery, printing press, offset printing, digital printing, and lamination. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy comprehensive benefits, including full-line benefits, paid holidays, and a 401 K match.
