Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Technician II to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for various construction projects, ensuring efficient and accurate representation of building systems and components.

Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM softwareCollaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure accurate representation of building systemsPerform clash detection and coordinate resolution using Navisworks or similar softwareGenerate 2D drawings and documentation from BIM modelsAssist in developing and implementing BIM standards and best practicesProvide technical support and guidance to junior BIM techniciansParticipate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussionsStay updated on the latest BIM technologies and industry trendsEnsure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field3-5 years of experience in BIM or a related fieldProficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks; familiarity with other BIM software is a plusStrong 3D modeling and visualization skillsIn-depth knowledge of construction processes and building systemsFamiliarity with industry standards, codes, and best practicesExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detailStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenBIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferredUnderstanding of architectural and engineering principlesFamiliarity with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systemsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to adapt to new technologies and workflows
